UKscrapers was contracted by Professional Group LTD to undertake the earthworks for phase two of the Woodford Aerodrome site in Stockport. The former airfield site is to become a new "garden village," and our team was responsible for stripping and stockpiling approximately 54000 m2 of predominantly wet topsoil's prior to birds nesting. This was followed by a cut to fill and compact of around 800000 CuM of subsoil's.

Our team used GPS technology to trim areas to tolerance and achieve high accuracy during the earthworks process. We completed the project over a two-month period, ensuring that the operations were in line with the site program progression.
