UKscrapers had the opportunity to work as a subcontractor for Sirius Group on a prestigious housing site project for Keepmoat Homes in Seacroft Leeds, behind the hospital. Our primary objective was to provide a cost-effective and efficient solution for the earthworks process while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
UKscrapers provided our expertise and state-of-the-art equipment to facilitate the earthworks process for the Sirius Group project. Our team used GPS technology to create accurate road excavations and excavated the subsoil from the road footprint to create the plots. We then compacted the plots in layers, with CBR testing every 300mm by Sirius to ensure adherence to rigorous specifications.
The project included a topsoil strip of around 12,300 cubic metres and relocating and compacting the subsoil, which was around 10,200 cubic metres. Our team followed strict environmental guidelines throughout the topsoil strip and subsoil relocation process. We also ensured that the site was kept tidy and safe throughout the project to minimize any impact on the environment.
